This is a challenging ocean passage that requires preparation for a range of conditions. Early April in the North Atlantic can bring unpredictable weather, from calm seas to strong winds and significant wave heights.

ROUTE
HIGHLIGHTS
Departing from the Azores:
We'll set sail from Ponta Delgada, the largest city in the Azores, leaving behind the volcanic landscapes of these mid-Atlantic islands.
The wild North Atlantic:
The majority of this journey will be spent in open ocean, providing an authentic bluewater sailing experience. We'll navigate through the vastness of the Atlantic, potentially encountering a variety of sea conditions and weather patterns.
Approaching the Continental Shelf:
As we near Europe, we'll experience the changing sea conditions as we step from deep ocean to the continental shelf, and crossing tracks of numerous cargo ship.

Arriving at the Coast of Galicia:
Our journey concludes along the dramatic coastline of Galicia, known for its rugged cliffs, numerous rias (coastal inlets), and rich maritime history.
