Tips ON getting

Sorvagur [FAE] is the only airport in the Faroes archipelago, and is 30 minutes by bus or taxi from the capital, Torshavn. Most flights arrive from Copenhagen (5 per day), though there other destinations as well (check https://www.atlantic.fo/ for details).

That means: we don’t expect anything really challenging. Some longer passages, some waves. Something with a taste of the real sea,
but usually not too hard or too long.

Talking about this exact stage, all the passages will be really short, usually lasting 3−4 hours, and pass by during the daylight. The only difficulty are the waters themselves: at times, wavy, and at times
with very strong currents combining the Gulf Stream and the tides.
