To the boat

from the boat

Cherbourg is 3 hours by train
from Paris (Saint-Lazare).
The train runs every 1−2 hours. Then each of the three Paris airports should work good for you.

The boat will stay in one of the marinas in the center of the city. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol [AMS] is one of the busiest in Europe.

Talking about this exact stage, we might encounter some fogs, 1−2 night passages, and at times tricky and intense navigation between the shallows, fishing and commercial vessels, all this in strong tidal currents. But in general, we’ll be protected from the big ocean swell, and no offshore passages
on the way.
